Conhecida no mundo todo, a imagem do sagrado coração de Jesus me inspirou essa pintura. Provavelmente você já observou que nessa imagem Jesus apresenta-se com chagas em suas mãos e seu coração está envolto em espinhos. Eu pintei flores ao invés de chagas porque foi assim que ele se apresentou para nós originalmente. Na verdade, fomos nós que causamos essas feridas, Por isso estou TENTANDO fazer tudo para limpar a minha história.

You probably observed that in this known figure Jesus has wounds on his hands and his heart is wrapped in thorns. In my artwork I put flowers instead of the wounds because that is how He appeared to us originally. In fact, we were the ones who hurt him. It is why I am trying to do everything to clear my history.
